Qafari House
Designing through already erected pillars, was a puzzle to be solved. The owner wanted two master-room and a bedroom for children, with spacious closets in each room. An island-style kitchen, would separate private from public zone, and covering toilet entrance by its slanted back wall.
Project description
180 square meters foundation, with 12 erected pillars, elevated 60 centimeters above the ground, to fend off dust, rodents and insects. Grouping the wet areas around facilities, to minimizing the noise and cost of plumping, make the northern part of the house, the wet zone.
